Science that lay people “Agree with/see value in?” Shouldnt be required.
Not able to understand the key element? Inadequate explanatory/communication skills?

Agree with the “not trained/interested” part. However, wouldnt you think for any publicly funded professional, a key element of their job should be ability to explain the nature/significance/application of their work to the lay public?

Agree with the “not trained/interested” part. However, wouldnt you think for any publicly funded professional, a key element of their job should be ability to explain the nature/significance/application of their work to the lay public?
