Both if at all possible. If I'm being honest I can imagine what both those terms might mean but I ain't entirely sure.

Politically I agree with you. But I don't think this discussion really is about their political actions.

There are plenty of competent amateurs who can use Canva to create perfectly decent graphic design, just as there are plenty of incompetent ones who produce eye-searing trash. You can’t really fault the tool for being easy and intuitive enough for unknowledgeable people to use.

I agree that it’s perhaps unfortunate that the art of graphic design has been somewhat lost.

However, as more competent tools become available, more people will DIY—and that’s not their fault. As a professional, you have to adapt and find ways to provide value that people can recognize.

In general, not every task requires a professional to handle. It always depends on the available skill set and the motivation and/or ability to complete it yourself.
I fully agree that a skilled designer could probably do it better, but hiring one is often not cost-effective to accomplish the task.

I disagree. Canva isn't necessarily a bad tool it offers people a relatively easy way to conduct graphic design. Most people won't notice the difference between competent amateur graphic design and professional graphic design in their day to day if they aren't looking for it.

I am in support of workers world wide but I don't see how these tariffs would improve working conditions in either country.
