🍽️ Loved making and eating this one. The ancho chiles and the lemon zest peels gave it a unique flavor. I went with far less oil (1/2 to 2/3 cup). The sauce was perfectly glossy.

Psychological safety is NOT about lack of disagreement.

Psychological safety REQUIRES:

* disagreement and debate
* setting standards for behavior and performance, and enforcing them
* telling people things they don't want to hear
* courage, from the bottom up
* humility, from the top down

Laid up for the weekend. Upside: making progress on a copy of "Originals" by Adam Grant that someone gifted to me. 📚

Nice to see research backing the sometimes counterintuitive lessons I've learned in my career.

BREAKING NEWS: CDC orders mass retraction and revision of submitted research across all science and medicine journals. Banned terms must be scrubbed.

Goes beyond MMWR +other CDC pubs. Applies to research already submitted to top medical journals.

Take a look.

github.com/lucahammer/t... worked well for deleting all of my data on that other site while keeping my account active so someone else can't claim it after 30 days (until someone changes the rules ...)

No free lunches. No silver bullets.
"How much instrumentation is enough?" is the first post on a brand new @chris.toshokelectric.com blog. Pithy and powerful. blog.toshokelectric.com/blog/how-muc...

"Whenever your system fails, check your observability tooling can help you understand how it got into that state. If holes, plug them."

Read and digested about 15 posts. Now trying to formulate a brief lit review (1) to invite public critique of my understanding and (2) to hopefully broaden some org thinking about problems and our ability to quickly, easily, cheaply solve them at work.
Part way through. Loving the many angles of "What problem are we solving?" from technical to organizational across posts by @mipsytipsy.bsky.social , @hazelweakly.me, and @boristane.bsky.social (so far). 🤩

Bonus: Tangent-tagged a whole trove of papers by @grimalkina.bsky.social as #to-read.
Unboxing all the posts I have saved in Obsidian about observability "2.0(+?)". Wondering if any share experience migrating from a 1.0 vendor / platform / setup (e.g., demo-ing the value prop, operating prod systems during the transition). Maybe pointless Qs once I read more
