Couldn’t we utilize corridors along interstate highways across the country to build along? Have the feds own those lines and charge power companies for access. And do this for a nationally owned fiber optic network. Companies pay for access.

The joint chief of staff should be denying trump the use of our military for what clearly a civilian issue. The military is being put into a no win situation and violating their oath.
