Miss Moo being all cute. Failed fostering a couple of days in and it’s the best fail ever. A couple of months in and she’s really come out of her shell. From timid to demanding! Love it ❤️🐾

I sincerely hope the Shrek 5 teaser is a ploy to get people talking about it. New animation style is heavily disappointing. Too smooth, too goofy. It’s giving… Mockbuster energy. Temu Disney Vibes.

I’m carving a nativity set for my mam for Christmas (following a tutorial by Woodcarvings by Johnny). Just completed baby. Gave me some trouble as it’s a harder wood than the others and had a stubborn knot in it. Only off cut I had though. Anyway, just the 3 wise men to go…
Three wood carvings I’ve done. Mary, dressed in blue, is stood on the left. Joseph, dressed in brown, is on the right. The baby Jesus is laid in a manger in front of them with a matching blue swaddle to Mary. All are painted.

I’ve made my own tea advent calendar for about 8 or 9 years now. It didn’t look like this originally. It was a tiny box with a handmade transfer on the top. None existed when I started this, but now they’re everywhere! Anyhoo, I’ve prepped mine for this year...
A wooden house-shaped calendar with numbered doors, small fake christmas lights on the top, a tree at either side, and two sledges on the roof. One sledge has a tiny mug of Yorkshire tea on it, and another mug sits atop the singular block for number 25. Fun Fact for those who read the alt text: Despite having two mugs of Yorkshire Tea on the calendar, I don’t include the brand in my calendar. Usually because I drink it daily anyway.

Obligatory first post. But what shall it be? A female red-crested pochard I photographed in April at a nearby reservoir. Enjoy.
