I blame the government for my increased paranoia.
The AMD PSP you can apparently disable in the bios. And has no network stack.

Knew I shouldn't have bought that SFF PC, it most likely has unpatchable security holes in it. AMD might cost more now. So replacing it with AMD, might be expensive, and I need three ethernet ports.

If the chipset in the network card is newer then the PC, is it compatible? LOL.

You risk those servers getting hacked.

So maybe going offline, is the best choice. If things get worse.

Oh yeah AMD, has something like that too. Well, I can always take a hammer to my desktop, laptop, Steam Deck, and SFF PC.

Is the Steam Deck safe?

If you have to upload your ID to sites, then hackers will love that.

If the government makes it device or operating system level, that's spyware. You can guarantee it will do more then "age verification". This government is corrupt as fuck.

Remember Craigslist Personals? Yeah users abused it for prostitution which is illegal in the US. But the government I'm pretty sure made them get rid of it. They still have the missed connections though.

Hmm are the taxes the tariffs though? Probably, it has international shipping.

Well that sucks. I won't pay the tariffs, even if they say it's tax.

And didn't know adb could be used to backup Android, thought you always had to use some third party app. Well, maybe not for backing up to the insecure cloud, called Google.

Well, calls could exploit it too. Apparently even if you don't answer the call. Looks like iOS and Android just aren't safe.

Can it bypass firewalls on the device? If so, maybe don't use cell data. Good luck on it bypassing a router, unless it can hack it somehow. Just make a whitelist for the VLAN the phone is on, that it can access. You can also keep phone in a Faraday cage most of the time, or not at home.
