Well I can assure you that no one is impressed with immature insults. And clarifying a position to someone that clearly don't understand it is called having a good faith discussion. It's a far more effective tool of communication than saying things like "cry about it". But you have good day.

AI learns from copyrighted works like we do, absorbing info to generate information, not by copying. ie summarizing a book’s plot isn’t theft, it’s knowledge. If we cripple our AI while China advances unchecked, we risk ceding a world-changing tech to an authoritarian superpower. That’s dangerous.

I hear that, but this has far more implications than the USA and how much we suck right now. If the west (including the EU) give up AI progress to China, they hand over the biggest technological revolution to an authoritarian political empire. Again I understand the USA right now isn't much better.
