One time maps told me “slight right to turn left onto …” which did make me wonder what is the rarest direction you can get in Google Maps

The commands to run it are in the README file, but if you just want to use the graph there's a json file in the repo which is the output of the program: github.com/paralogical/...

Or if you just want random syllables, there's a bunch of precomputed random syllables: github.com/paralogical/...

The code is here:
github.com/paralogical/...

It uses the graph data structure I mention in the video, and randomly chooses edges to follow in the graph, which takes it from the starting sound to the ending sound of a new syllable. Happy to explain more if you'd like.

I really appreciate the kind words :) I’m excited about the next video, I think it’s progressing nicely!

The problem is that I didn’t realize Reddit is like 99% images and videos these days. Kind of ruins the aesthetic. So I wouldn’t say this is a *good* idea…

This sample is just hardcoded posts and not actually fetching. I had to scroll pretty far to even find 3 random text posts to use!

Hey I sent you a DM with my email. It’s also available on my YouTube channel info page (not posting it here to avoid spam)

It’s tough on both sides! Infrequent posters have a hard time getting off the ground, I’m lucky to have found an audience at all.

I wish there was more incentive because it takes time to make something polished :P

p.s. several more videos in the works!

I think this should be a web standard. Let’s get W3C on the phone.

I totally feel this. I even try to reduce the scope of things I make to compensate, but that doesn’t help because then I think “well it’s so small and simple, it should at least be polished…”
