Got tickets for an Exploding Whales game in Eugene (about the only way I can get my Sweetie to go to a game). She's sporting the Captain's Hat giveaway. #EMS70

Went out for our 41st Anniversary to the place where we had dinner the night I proposed to my Sweetie 41 1/2 years ago.

My Sweetie told me about this bird nest in our fence the other day. She was amused that they had built a high-rise with a tiny opening at the top. She figured it had been abandoned.
I looked in. I am not convinced the builders haven't left. Will keep any eye on things like our previous duck egg.

For me, I donate my AB plasma. So, I guess I don't end up giving any "red", but more of a yellow (like a cream filling you get from a heart-shaped box of candy).

Plans fell through, so my Sweetie and I found an alternate venue for Christmas dinner together. ❤️
Had a great meal.
As we were driving out to the restaurant, we passed a local pancake/breakfast place (that serves Sweet Cream pancakes). It was open. If only we knew. Maybe next year?

Another Yank asked me how I would rank the play of the ABL after first game. I thought it was A or AA. After 2nd & 3rd games, with fumbled balls and errors, I would say high school.

Great weather for first game. Wasn't too excited about stayong for the 2nd, though. However it started an hour earlier than the previous night, so I figured I could get to the train in time. Cooler weather for the second.

As I was walking to the Sydney Blue Sox Stadium, I saw this sign. By the roadway it made me think that the moratorium in drinking & driving was ending in Rooty Hill in another year and a half. 😮

And massive hot dogs! (It's actually a chili dog, but the chili is under the sausage.)
