I think detrans grifters has fooled everyone into think accidentally getting on HRT without knowing what it actually does is a legitimate worry. It's not.

It's still not like, great, but I'm having a better time with it now it feels like it's in more of a groove. I don't buy Kira's character change at all and he's still the least interesting protagonist I've ever spent this much time with, but the stuff happening around him is at least quite fun

The pacing has definitely picked up a lot, it really feels like it's getting in to the final act. Big changes, it kinda feels like the Federation has actually lost? And that the Archangel crew is now truly independent of it too, it's definitely going in even more of a different direction now

I do really like the Freedom Gundam though, really nice design and colour scheme.

Episode 33 in general was pretty good! Definitely a pick up

Starting to realise Seed is made by someone who thought Gundam should be more like Evangelion but completely ballsed it up. Teenage angst, Misato, endless technical jargon, the font, just got introduced to the faceless world leaders, and all measurably worse and trying so hard to be cool

Also been thinking about it more and Nicol walking into his sword is such a Han shot first change. It changes nothing about the story or how the characters act about it, it just tries to make the character look less complicit

Because there's no red shirt grunts in so many of these fights it leaves everyone in this show looking ineffectual at their job. Has the ship with all of its guns ever shot down a single mobile suit?
