Vet the source of all images you use
pros: you get better at citing sources which is already pretty necessary today
you'll get better at detecting ai in images (but don't go accusing random people and artists)
cons: it's tedious in the age of conveniency

Use Duckduckgo, go to change search settings, ai features: manage, turn duck.ai off/turn hide generated images ON
pros: they do a pretty good job sorting out ai
they value your privacy as a search engine
cons: I find *personally* that duckduckgo has less results than something like google

Go to google images, then select tools, any time, leave from: blank, and set to: '2022'
pros: pretty much all ai is left out because the big ai boom was summer 2023
