We make refried beans every month or so, for burrito dinners. So delicious. And the salsa we make tastes so much brighter and fresher than store bought. A lot to be said for making stuff like that from scratch.

We went yesterday and bought quite a few items. The only thing we couldn't find was black salt, which they said they'd get in for us next week. The owners/managers were very nice and helpful, it's great to have this store in the 'hood!

One of my favourite authors! I've read all the Culture novels multiple times, they're thought provoking and very entertaining. A non-Culture (I think) novel I also enjoyed was The Algebraist.
