And a first season has the benefit of focusing a lot on getting to know the characters anyway. I think the test will be if they can portray the growth occured over a time skip between seasons without it feeling either jarring or boring, because that's where it has the potential to lose me. (2/2)

In general, I'm not a fan of the realtime episode concept either (hated 24), but something about it really works for me here. Maybe it's partially that the 8 episode seasons television has been favoring the last few years hasn't had much space for character growth in ensemble shows anyway. (1/2)

Agreed, the chemistry is unparalleled and the comedic timing too. And the strength in CT's Beatrice is everything to me. It's not in this clip obviously, but the way she turns on a dime to deliver the "kill Claudio" line is just phenomenal.
