There might not be anyone left on dearth who hasn’t heard the story of how the native Americans had their land stolen and that the descendants of people who had their land stolen are alive and oppressed today

It’s true but the story didn’t start there! it didn’t just happen to them. It happened…
Imagine someone gave you a gift, a beautiful home, with lakes and trees and mountains and nature animals friends and someone else came and took it from you and said that it was theres and wouldn’t let you see it or visit it or live there

That’s the US gov

Until we restore the commons it’s theft
They say United States national parks are beautiful and America is beautiful but that’s wrong

The Earth is beautiful. It’s supposed to be accessible to all. But there are terrible horrible people. Real villains who prevent other humans from seeing what God or nature meant as a gift for all

If someone wanted me to respect them they would show up-in person

Not dedicating my life to something I can’t see or someone who won’t show up especially when the world has been falling apart

I’ll keep the values

(this is 30 years late btw…)

I’m working on a new product and looking for investors!

AI powered socks! 🧦

These socks use the power of AI to know when your feet are cold!

After washing using the power of AI these socks fold themselves!

Also, in development AI powered cutlery! Don’t know how to use a spoon? Don’t worry! 🥄

Reason for poverty number 1038:

This is the real reason - the people who are in “power” want it that way. They want poor and desperate people.

They don’t know or don’t care
They are either psychopathic or evil

To the oppressed it feels the same

The poor also dont realize their power to respond

“While the productive capacity rose enormously with industrialization, people were made busier, while one might have expected the opposite to occur. This was at least the expectation among many intellectuals such as Paul Lafargue.

The liberal John Stuart Mill also predicted that society…”
If AI succeeds, we need universal basic income, and if AI fails, we need universal basic income. Also, we should have implemented UBI decades ago when working class incomes first decoupled from productivity growth.
So if AI succeeds loads of people lose their jobs as they're replaced by AI, and if AI fails, loads of people lose their jobs as the economy crashes?

The tech companies, like Apple, Google and Microsoft are using AI to build models on you or your content without your permission.

People think Apple values your privacy. They don’t. Same with Google and Microsoft

Since politicians aren’t doing it I’ll do it. I’m declaring a new law

Being against UBI is NOT a victimless crime!

There are lots of victims from the lack of UBI
I used to see people that were against UBI as people making a mostly harmless philosophical choice

It’s not! It’s not some outer space policy

There are people in the streets right now suffering, hungry, cold, wet, vulnerable not being able to live BECAUSE THEY DON’T HAVE A UBI
I'm really impressed with how Rashida Tlaib improved her BOOST proposal from the last time she introduced it. Last time it had a phaseout, meaning it required means testing. This time, she dropped the means testing and used a surtax to better accomplish her goal of avoiding boosting those over $150k

The key to enjoying this life is to have money and be a psychopath

You can buy whatever you need and the problems of others dont affect you

If you want to level up your good person statistics then say “I want everyone to have housing, everyone to have healthcare, everyone to have education, everyone to have food” even if you don’t like those people!

What an easy upgrade!!!

BAM!

With one thought process you can change!
Not all americans can have food only those with money
Not all americans can have medicine and see doctors only those with money
Not all americans can have housing only those with money (lots of money)

This isn’t the same country as it used to be and thats both good and bad

Rep. Rashida Tlaib as part of her Economic Dignity for All agenda has introduced a new version of her BOOST Act which is now a Universal Basic Income of $250/mo paired with a new 2.5% tax on incomes over $30k to function as a phaseout. That means everyone under $150k would see a net boost in income.

There may be some point in the future where AI and automaton are doing all the work and there’s no work left for people. It’s already happened to people.

What do you think is going to happen when you meet those people who you’ve denied UBI, who you’ve denied basic necessities?
November 20, 2025 at 8:18 PM
Seth McFarlane had an idea to fix poverty. The wealthy and the poor should switch places for a year.

I’m guessing the desired effect would be that the wealthy would understand the lives of the poor, feel empathy for them and then implement or stop preventing poverty reducing policies

“She’s too kind”

“Treat her like shit so she learns to stand up for herself”

“It’s not working. You’re just making her sad.”

“Have you bullied her? Have you excluded her. She has to learn to stand up for herself or she’ll have a rough life. Keep it up”

“She’s in her 40s…”

“We needed UBI decades ago when working class incomes were decoupled from productivity growth”

There was an unspoken but expects agreement that the more money you made the boss the more you would get paid. Employers broke that trust.

UBI is a constant against the psychopathic nature of capitalism

"My Country Is The World" a 1847 drawing is an anti-slavery map centered on West Africa, in the light, and contrasting the U. S. and Europe in the dark. Below is an inscription from Thomas Paine: "My Country Is the World; My Religion is to do good".

I talked to a politician about homelessness and she said i’m not horrible. I’m not heartless

i said it costs $10 to buy a tarp to protect homeless and their things from getting wet during the rain. you don’t give them even that and those who have it you take it away

Don’t do anything good. Don’t do any good for anyone

All that happens in the long run is dickheads show up

unless you want to help the poor. then it’s all hands on deck!!!

*not everyone but you know who you are

and really, the entire world can only afford to donate to one person solving poverty?

when they say “put your money where your mouth is” it’s pretty clear by your priorities you are not good and you don’t care for others

denial is not just a river in egypt
“Why do you complain about the world here?”

Because either you are all horrible or you are liars

You’re horrible because the amount of neglect and suffering that you allow / ignore or

You’re liars. And you know what I’m talking about. When are you going to be honest?

“But people donate money to politicians”

Politicians aren’t doing their job. They go to golf courses while homeless die or go hungry in the streets

“People donate to charities”
They feed people but aren’t solving the root causes

“People tithe”
Religions aren’t solving poverty
“But what about that Facebook guy? He believed in UBI and said he was going to donate some of his millions to help!”

I contacted him. Multiple times through multiple channels. There was no reply.
We are somehow in bizarro world

Stats say at least 4 billion are in poverty. In the US 80% are living paycheck to paycheck

Yet only one person in the world is being paid to solve poverty?

Don’t donate to politicians. At least not republicans or democrats. Pay people working on the problems

Theres 8 billion people in the world; 300 million people in the US. In all those people only one is being paid to solve poverty

Actually millions of people are paying or voting politicians in the hope they will help them out of poverty

And still only one person working on the right thing
