It can be challenging for sure and it might not be for everyone but you really have to rely on stealth at times which aligns well with the story. And the combat is extremely snappy and precise that way, it 100% felt like being in a samurai movie!

Yupp, Red Dead is a close second after these top 3.
One last thing and then I'll stop gushing about Ghost:
I wholeheartedly recommend playing on Lethal difficulty, it really seems to me that the game was designed with that mode in mind.

I was absolutely BLOWN away after seeing how many subtle but exceptionally good decisions came together to create this game

Trying (and failing) not to set the expectations too high, Tsushima is probably the best game I've ever played.
Can't quite decide but its the only game that got to the top of the podium with Mass Effect and Witcher 3 after them dominating for a good 10 years
