I love a mini whiteboard for quick formative assessment tasks in class but handing them out and then the whole thing about the pens having dried out drove me to distraction so... why not use a blank Keynote or Powerpoint slide and use as a mini whiteboard? Less fuss, more learning! 🦋

Using multiple choice questions are a great way of revealing misconceptions in learning and are also great for retrieval practice. MCQs can be far from simple quizzes, when written correctly they can really test students.
