I've had her >10 years, and later adopted 2 more cats 🥹 I'm still slightly allergic, and i need regular asthma meds, but it's so much more mild now. she can sleep in my room any everything!!! Aaa my point is that I think in many cases, it can be possible. I hope you can follow this dream someday 🥺

Aaa I'm not sure this is any help, but I have allergies and severe asthma—cats used to give me an asthma attack, the general itchiness/watery eyes, and make my face swell, but my calico (she's a short hair who doesn't shed much or need too much grooming) doesnt trigger that so much!
