A Grief-Marred Rose
Riley from Pokémon DPPt laying in a bed of blue roses with a sullen look. He wears an outfit inspired by blue roses and white chrysanthemums. Blue roses are a symbol of determination and individuality, as well as self acceptance of flaws. White chrysanthemums are a funeral flower representing death and grief. Both are a nod to his parents’ family names, his father’s being Bellerose and his mother’s maiden name being Shiragiku. While the chrysanthemum detail is a subtle, the white fabric still overlaps and covers a large portion of his body, representing how his grief has left him unable to accept himself and without a sense of individuality.

My favorite guy from Pokémon
Riley from Pokémon DPPt drawn in casual clothes instead of his jacket and hat, meant to be a more personal interpretation of his character. It’s a long sleeved blue shirt with floral embroidery around the sleeves and collar with a cream undershirt.

A draft of Alain’s Enchantix for my crossover :3

Wrapped around his shoulders and waist is a glittery sash with burnt edges. He has an angry expression and holds blue chains made of flames. Same as the other image but without the sash.

Kamilla is Riley’s(DPPt) maternal aunt, who he’s been living with since he was 12, in Celestic Town. She’s meant to a more simple style with a yellow cardigan paired with a brown shirt and pants. Priska is the eighth gym leader of my fan-region, Traumburg. She specializes in water type Pokémon and works as a fashion designer. Due to her specialty, she’s styles her hair to look like water and wears flashier clothing. The collar of her shirt is ruffled to look like waves, her skirt is scalloped with pearl details on the slit, and the toe of her shoes is shaped like a clamshell. Rose-Marie is the sixth gym leader of Traumburg. She’s specializes in poison types and works as an apothecary. She’s meant to be more modest, wearing a long sleeved blouse and ankle length skirt in darker colors, with bright purple ribbons as decorations on the collar and skirt. Her hair is navy blue and light yellow roots and tips to mimic flower petals Aldrich is Riley’s(DPPt) mentor, the man who taught him how to use aura. He was at one point an aura guardian, but that’s behind him now. He tends to dress more casually with a button up shirt and t-shirt with jeans. René is Alain’s(XY/XYZ) father. He works as a freelance interior designer, allowing him to stay home and work. He tends to lean towards more trendy clothes, but still likes comfort. Cardigans with button up shirts are a staple of his style.
