I think you’re totally still good. This is such a very vibe in atmosphere and mechanics, even the bugs are pretty different, and the niche is barely overlapping genre-wise.

Dunno if it’s on purpose, but I like that the spiders body has the ‘scare’ icon from the game’s mechanics. To me, that’s some in-universe mechanism to scare off predators, like how butterflies have scary patterns on their wings sometimes to scare off predators.

I can’t explain it but the way Mr. Mystery’s face is drawn here is so endearing to me! The slightly flat saturation with the ‘cracks’ in his face simply be implications of a nose are so fun.
