“Aatrox! You promised that you’d be willing to give me the chance to show that I really care. But you still haven’t told me what you want to see me do!” Seraphine shouted out at Aatrox, trying to make her voice loud enough to not get drowned out by the crashing waves. “That’s because I still don’t trust you to not find a way to ruin things even when you try to help!” Aatrox shot back in a grumbling tone. “Why don’t we start with something simple then?” Seraphine offered, trying to not let his lack of trust hurt her heart too badly. Aatrox remained mostly silent outside of some incoherent grumblings as his eyes darted around. After some time passed, he crossed his arms over his chest and finally spoke up, “So much of your human tech gets dumped on this beach and ends up washing into our ocean. Clean it up.” Seraphine perked up instantly from hearing him say that. “Alright! I’ll have this beach looking spotless right away!” It didn’t take long for her to grab the needed supplies from Anima Squad HQ and make her way back. When Seraphine reached the beach she was surprised to see that Aatrox was still at the shore’s edge. She waved at him like she was greeting one of her friends. “I wasn’t expecting you to still be here. I hope the wait wasn’t too long.” Seraphine casually spoke to him. Aatrox’s face scrunched up in annoyance at the Battle Dove standing before him. “Will you ever stop with your persistent, futile attempts to become friends, little songbird?” Seraphine couldn’t help but laugh before responding, “No, I won’t! I’ve told you before that you’re not so different from us. It’s still my plan to prove that to you!” Aatrox only offered back a low grumble but Seraphine did notice that he didn’t outright deny her attempts and for now she’ll take that small win. With nothing much left to say, Seraphine got to work. It started out fairly simple with just picking up small amounts of litter and trash people left after they visited. Seraphine started to hum a soothing tune to herself but even that started to feel awkward once she reminded herself that she’s underneath the gaze of the Primordian General. Once that was taken care of all that was left was getting rid of any old Anima Squad tech, but she wasn’t noticing anything like Aatrox had brought up. “Hey Yuum.ai! Can you help me real quick?” The cyber cat system booted to life from within Seraphine’s device, “How can I help you today, Battle Dove?” “Can you scan this area for any old tech beneath the sand for me?” “Of course!” The bot responded, quickly getting to work. It didn’t take long for her to finish and report back to Seraphine. “I’ve found a total of six different pieces of old Anima Squad tech buried in the sand.” “Thank you Yuum.ai!” Seraphine said before ending the connection. Seraphine stared at the sand, unmoving, as she worked to think about how she could get it all out by herself. She promised Aatrox she would do this and she didn’t want to fail with the most important pieces she needed to get rid of. She cautiously glanced behind her at Aatrox to find him looking directly at her with a glower painted across his face. She immediately felt the judgemental look in his eyes piercing through her without him needing to say a word. She quickly looked away again. She refused to disappoint him so she followed the map Yuum.ai had proved her and began digging in the sand. Thankfully most of the pieces weren’t nearly as deep underground as she had expected them to be. She found the hardest part to be lifting them out of the holes she had dug. But she managed fine enough. It was now well into the evening and there was only one piece left till the beach would be left spotless like she promised. She’d been digging straight down for a while now and she still hadn’t found the device. Seraphine pulled out her comm device to check the map again and the blinking red dot still hadn’t changed location. Seraphine couldn’t help her growing frustration from her lack of success. ‘I don’t understand why I haven’t found it yet!’ She pulled herself out of the hole and laid down on the sand, letting out one deep breath after another. She lazily looked over at Aatrox whose head was now cocked to the side as he looked down at her. Seraphine half-heartedly waved her hand at him, “I’m fine. I just need a minute to rest.” She closed her eyes as her breathing slowed down. But she wasn’t given more than a few moments of relaxation before the ground beneath her started to rumble. Her eyes opened wide as she sat up to try and figure out what’s happening when she’s met with Aatrox’s form looming over her. In silent surprise she watched him effortlessly dig out an enormous pile of sand to reveal that final piece of old equipment. He dropped the pile of sand to the side and lifted out the piece of tech to place it right next to Seraphine. He just as quickly returns to the sea without a word as Seraphine looks at him with her mouth agape. She hesitated to speak up, “...Thank you, Aatrox. That’s really kind of you!” “I didn’t do it to help you. It was just getting pathetic watching you struggle about.” Aatrox explained, averting his gaze from Seraphine. “I still appreciate the help.” Seraphine said as she got up to fill in the now gaping hole in the beach. “I hope you’ll trust me a little more now Aatrox. I truly do believe that humans and primordians can thrive on the same team.” “Perhaps… But you’re still only one human. I refuse to blindly trust the rest of your kind.” Aatrox huffed out. A bitterness tainted every word. Seraphine turned around to face him. She stood tall as she yelled up at him, a confident smile was painted across her face, “You can’t deter me that easily, Aatrox! You’re already stuck with me!” Aatrox let out a heavy sigh as she reached down and effortlessly pulled out the pile of sand Seraphine had just finished putting back. “Ah! That’s not fair!” Seraphine cried out, waving her hands up above her as she tried to reach for his sand-filled hand.

I'm working on the final part of my (very late) #MetalMusicWeek Day 5 fic and I just want to share this part of the WIP! I'm quite proud with how it turned out.
Part 1 of a section of my Odyssey Sona/Dark Star Mordekaiser fic WIP that reads: Ignoring her expression, he released her jaw and moved his hand down to grasp one of her legs. His hand ghosted just above her skin till he finally grabbed onto the base of her thigh right above her knee. He watched, almost in surprise, as the constellations’ shine beneath her skin concentrated at the pinpoints of each one of his fingers. Silently, Mordekaiser pulled her leg up. Her limp leg arched quite beautifully in his grip, contrasting perfectly against the sharp contours of his form. It felt inarguably harmonious the way their bodies connected—blending into one another. Fitting perfectly into each other like two parts of a geode that had finally found their match. He squeezed her stardust flesh, seemingly unbothered by her plasma dripping down and coating his hand. A gasp escaped Sona’s lips before she could stop it as her leg reacted to his touch. He dragged his hand further down her leg, pressing his claws into it. Not enough to pierce, but close. Almost like he was testing the limits of her body. In the next moment, presumably satisfied, he dropped her leg from within his hold. Pulling his attention back upward Sona watched Mordekaiser focus in on her chest. Despite herself, embarrassment began to creep up her spine. As if in slow motion, Sona watched as Mordekaiser reached up and dragged his fingers along the surface of Sona’s glowing ora core. It warbled—shifting and swirling to life—beneath his touch. A tremor rumbled its way through Sona’s body. Mordekaiser simply cocked his head at her reaction. Despite the pleasure Sona received, his touch was not one of love or tenderness. It was a scrutinizing touch. One meant to analyze and observe. For what purpose exactly, Sona could not deduce. Part 2 of a section of my Odyssey Sona/Dark Star Mordekaiser fic WIP that reads: Sona continued to grow more weak and sensitive as his treatment continued. Sona’s eyes fluttered close as her mind drowned in the sensations. The confusingly soft way Mordekaiser’s claws poked at her core, and then how he rubbed the smooth surface of it as if in apology for/of his rough behavior. In the back of Sona’s mind she knew that couldn’t be true. Yet she relished in it nevertheless. His hand continued to wander upward, grazing her neck and tracing the imitation of arteries her new form had created. The pad of his finger followed the line of her jaw up to her cheek. He pressed his finger into the soft flesh. Pulling back slightly once he did, like he was surprised by how plush—how humanoid—her face still remained. He paused for just a moment before continuing his examination. With the back of his finger, he pushed her chin up. She slowly opened her eyes in response to find him looking directly at her. “I despise you.” He spits out before pulling her close and pressing his golden mask against her lips.

(Extra) Personality: I believe that Jax, when traveling around the mountain or when forced to deal with customers, would be cold, distant, and imposing (1st image). When he's around people he cares about though (cough cough Ahri) he's much more laidback, teasing, and playful (2nd image).

Accessories: Following the same logic with his pants, he doesn't wear any metal guards on his arms either. He at least wraps his fists and parts of his arms because he's always ready for a fight. But it's mostly just for looks at this point. He carries satchels and such around his waist.

Pants: His pants would be mostly just fabrics and cloths because there's rarely any real enemies around the Springs. So, wearing armor around is fairly unneeded. Also, as a chef I think armor would just get in the way. Maybe when he's traveling outside of the Springs he puts on some armor though.

Cloak: In my head this cloak is what he wears when he needs to travel outside of the Springs (which I feel like he does often) either up deeper into or further down the mountain. But when he's at the Springs he takes it off. So the only clothes he's wearing are those pants and accessories of his.

Mask: I like the idea of his mask, design-wise probably staying closer to his Base one, having two parts to it with a seam that allows the bottom part to come off. So, he can eat, talk, and whatever else (👀) without needing to reveal his whole face.

Since I can't draw, here's a thread instead sharing my idea about what Jax looks like in the Spirit Blossom Springs Universe. Pulling from his VU base skin concept art, I'm breaking it down into 4 parts: Mask, Cloak, Pants, and Accessories (plus Personality as a treat).
