Unfortunately the situation in Greece is really bad. The government controls almost every "independent" regulator, the media and the justice system. Anything/anyone not aligned with their agenda is chased hard. The media hide or degrade it and if not comply law enforcement is taking place. 😞

Freezing your credit does not affect your credit score. Your score remains the same because a freeze only restricts access to your credit report—However, if you apply for new credit while your report is frozen, the lender won’t be able to check your credit, which could delay or prevent approval.

Before you do anything consider the pros and cons of freezing your credit:

Pros:

- Prevents Identity Theft
- Free and Easy to Do
- Peace of Mind

Cons:

- Inconvenience When Applying for Credit
- Doesn’t Protect Existing Accounts
- Doesn’t Affect Non-Credit Fraud
- Delays in Emergencies
