Lots of examples of unfair treatment like the federal “Crow Rate” that subsidized rail rates in a way that favoured manufacturers in ON & PQ over western farmers and manufacturers.

The problem is: they've mistaken correlation for causation. They think their parents and grandparents had a good life *because* of manufacturing jobs. When, in reality, their parents and grandparents had a good life *despite* manufacturing jobs, because of unions, high taxes, and social policies.

Will anyone question why, after a person puts in 40+ years of work, their pension sucks and they still need to work to make ends meet? Could it be that wages have stagnated over the last 4 decades?

I'm 61 and we had oranges at every soccer game. Coaches didn't want us to get water logged.

He wants Canada to allocate more to defense than statutory payments to persons (4.1% of GDP) or statutory transfers to provinces (3.4% of GDP)
