October 10th 2024 saw the most vivid pink and purple northern lights visible to the naked eye I have ever seen this far south in thrle US. Folks in TX saw these hues of pink.

In typical new snowblower fashion, being setup for that photo / weather served as a scarecrow for any type of serious weather... for a month.
Then we drove 3 states away 4 vacation and.... 6 inches dumped on the ground. Looked in on Bumblebee. It was/is amazing.
Clean driveway to come home too.

I have closed up my bee hives for the year, but saw this poor girl frozen ddefending the hive from any intruders.
