Having said that, losing Suter and acquiring Kane were two boneheaded moves. Especially since they had “communication issues” with Suter’s agent. Playing hardball to the point of losing a useful player is a firing offence.

I agree, the defence system doesn’t work, the penalty kill is terrible, the power play mediocre.
