#ICESASC25 was a game-changer! Stepping outside of my usual research into the world of #fisheries has been valuable. Understanding where #GreatCormorants fish is a priority to manage interactions with human activities. New connections and prospectives!

#GreatCormorant chicks have unmistakable gannet-like features - revealing why they belong to #Suliformes order 🐦Loving these memories and discoveries from our last successful (and noisy) #ringing season!

Back from an incredible #EOU2025 in @bangoruniversity.bsky.social ! Presented my work on the spatial behaviour of #GreatCormorant🐦 - it was fantastic to discuss with such an engaged audience and meet new and old friends. The trips around North Wales were the perfect cherry on top! #ornithology

My first step into #seabird research out in @bci-journal.bsky.social! We explore seabird #bycatch risk in a coastal area of the Adriatic Sea (NE Italy) and propose a mitigation framework—one of the few studies in the #Mediterranean context! 🌊 Article open access doi.org/10.1017/S0959270925000012

I finished my first PhD internship at @cebc-chizelab.bsky.social diving deeper into the fascinating world of #GreatCormorant foraging behaviour. This opportunity opened up so many perspectives. Grateful to all researchers and students for this inspiring opportunity - hope to be back soon!
