The legacy of years of equalization in the US after WWs is still visible today and continues to limit the rise of inequality and polarization. If this trend isn't reversed, things will worsen within a generation. We show this in EL with @psalasr.bsky.social and Vanesa Jorda doi.org/10.1016/j.ec...

Trump's administration's obsession with the discrimination of whites in South Africa is definitely well-placed. These are the results of 35 years of discrimination since the end of apartheid.

If the aim is to obtain a supervised data-driven partition in non-overlapping groups a conditional inference tree can be manipulated to obtain an o-tree! More in Moramarco, Brunori, @psalasr.bsky.social here: eprints.lse.ac.uk/125442/
