I wish the Windows/macOS file systems did true deduplication so we could have a centralized asset storage *and* fully contained projects without wasting disk space! APFS is quite close with the copy-on-write support, but alas not consistently supported by third party apps…

I wonder if the calm before the storm on a nascent social media is a result of the lower user count, or if every platform just ends up tuning the algorithm for outrage in the end!
