More bits nobody will see on the Serrow. There should be top hat washers holding the plastics on and the ones for the sidepanels were missing. So I knocked some threaded ones up in stainless and loctited them onto the bolt. They won't go missing now

Fettling on the Serrow continues. I lost the little top hat washers for the number plate mount. So I made so new stainless ones. Plus I turned some stainless bolts on the end so they mimic the originals. Everything is being screwed back in using copperslip

That new bike feeling . A few of my mates go greenlaning. So a suitable bujecwas purchased. A 1989 Serrow. It's now on the bench, having a deep clean and check over. The garage is a bit cramped again

This retirement lark is great. I'm off up to my local trial ground at Earl Shilton to meet the Wednesday club for a ride about. My ex worksmates can wave at me as they pass the ground while driving along the M69 motorway

I toke the Panther out to a trial tye other day. Yes it was cold but then got really slippy once it thawed out. I'm now lining the tank as it's leaking

I have been fettling the Humber. A new chain guard from a cut down plunger bsa one, and re routed and new valve lifter cable to stop it burning on rhe cylinder head.

All change. A bit of fettling for the Humber. It started 2nd kick after being stood for a few weeks . The Panther will next be used on our boxing day run ( 26th Dec).

Fall off now you bugger. I keep losing these carb float bowl tops as they unscrew. The later models have an extra screw fitted which distorts the thread thereby locking it in place

Who can guess where I have been today

The Speed Twin has been in for a service. While it was in there they fitted a decent chain and sprocket set for me instead of the crappy OEM one that was causing a tingle through the right footrest. It also went rusty as soon as it saw any damp. Yes the weather was shite hence the dirt
