Ppl say Daisy is the Cruela De Vil of Thomas - though she actually (at least in my opinion) shares some characteristics w/ Wicked from Cyberchase (cause they are a little antagonistic w/ some redeeming factors). Imagine if Daisy was voiced by Linda Ballantyne reusing her Wicked voice for her.

While Pop Star is a good episode - and seeing the 4 female kids perform on stage is one that I wish they done more often in future episodes as their own band "The Sunflower Sisters" (in the S8 intro, they also performed on stage).

...the green-screen process might've played a part in this - when you think about it, they couldn't do the rather technical process of filming them separately even when they're w/ the other characters (can't put my finger on it myself, but still).

As evident in the May 1999 draft and the Leica Reel, Mr. Conductor and Junior would've also retained their original 18 inch small size on Sodor other than the Indian Valley - but later drafts including the shooting script had them be regular human size - which if I had to guess...

This might be an interesting pair of inspirations for these 2 here, but actors Linda Ballantyne and Rupert Degas were both inspired by Susan Roman and Michael Brandon each to become voice actors themselves.

After listening to that one clip of the finalized TATMR DC, I dunno - I've kinda slowly took a liking to John Bellis as Thomas (pitch-wise). I like Eddie Glen, but I dunno, I think John's voice for Thomas suited him, especially since this matches the S5 maturity of Thomas.

One of the main reasons I never watched the remainder eps of Hamtaro is not just b/c I can't read Japanese aside from English Subs (even if there are some episodes that don't have them that makes it more frustrating), but b/c of the 'Sweet Paradise' era...

I almost forgot about this till now - but today marks 10 Years since the Thomas Creator Collective was released made by the fans for the fans on the official Thomas YT channel. It may have its ups and downs, but the collaborative voices, music & model work by many fans and their work skyrocketed.

Who says 'no actor of the right size' could play STH in Magic RR, eh? Well, here's the stout gentleman himself as a physical appearance if Simon Fisher-Becker was casted for him for the film - this scene is loosely based on the end of the storyboard animatic reel where he comes home.

Just saw the 2nd TATMR footage archive compilation - and one of my favorite parts is seeing the storyboard scenes w/ how George's scenes played out. Looks like we can all use this sequence as reference anytime we want to do the scene of our own takes.

One lyric from the song "It's Halloween" that cracks me up is 'All the trains say ghosts can't be, but all the ghosts just disagree' which I thought was an indirect reference to how in fan-content characters don't believe real ghosts, only for the latter to come a prove them wrong for life.

So James did have a recasted VA in the original Director's Cut - that being Adrian Egan. Have to say, he really does a very good Scouse accent alongside Michael Angelis. I wish we had him in the final cut than what we got w/ Susan Roman in my opinion.

You'd think Thomas airing on CBeebies (BBC) would be crazy to think about, right? Well, actually - Series 5 was originally considered to air on that said-channel instead of Cartoon Network (which would've made it the first season to air on said-channel).
