The slippery slope of othering propaganda. If adverts can’t show diversity, what’s next — excluding people with disabilities, different body types, or a few pimples? That’s how it starts.

I’ve noticed all the Westminster parties use those strangely, perfectly positioned flags. They don’t even look real — more like flag-imprinted cones. Coincidence, or are they actually sourcing purpose-made flag cones for these backdrops?

Always thought so — they look more like flag-imprinted cones than real flags. Nothing accidental about the design; every fold and angle seems carefully staged to shout England first under the guise of a Union Jack.
