I mean if you'd really like to, sure. I'm not saying you're some sort of closet racist either, if that's what you're implying. I've been trying to communicate that you've done something wrong, probably without even realizing it, and that you're not really seeming to understand why.

You came into a comment section about understanding cultural differences, responded to an Asian person with a dismissal of their life-lived experience based off a single year you spent in a country. How else could that be perceived? Why would you deserve the benefit of the doubt in that situation?

Listen like if that's really the case then I'd respectfully caution you about being more aware of your surroundings and the conversations you enter because stumbling into racially and culturally charged discussions like that can easily turn "lighthearted and silly" into perceived bigotry.
