I may start building the first person horror framework while I am tuning the combat of the first, just because I feel it will go faster now that I've gotten more comfortable navigating around UE5.4.

Either way, work has been happening! I'm try to make sure things feel good before going in further

Going to save this framework as an LKG once it's complete for iteration purposes, and then try to tweak it into something more like a Zelda-like because I am not enjoying the feel of the stamina for every attack. I'd rather leave it for certain actions only, if at all.

The first tutorial taught me some new programming skills but ultimately wasn't built for practical use. I've instead gone and taken a course about souls-likes to build a framework. I'm in the final stretch of that course now.

I have been active on Twitter watching all of... this develop, but working on coming over to this platform fully now that I think nerves are passed.

So! Uh, game update! Since it's been two months. I ended up restarting to build a better framework in order to avoid tech debt. #indiedev
