2) The individual stations will feel this as much as their advertisers if local business start pulling their ads. This is where the impact can be made at a local market, station to station level. Those dollars are critical to the function of every broadcast TV station in the country. Hit them there!

1) If I may, it’s the “local” advertiser boycott that will sting the most. TV stations predominantly get linear $ from either local or national advertisers. It’s the local ones that you can reach that will feel this. Not Ford or McDonalds corporate, but any ad with a local address or phone number.
