When I first started I worked a weird rotational shift pattern where I had six days straight, three nine hour early shifts then three ten hour back shifts. Then I got four days off after that, but was often too tired to do anything. Thankfully, I'm working Monday to Friday, usually 7am to 2.30pm.

My employer gives me six weeks of annual leave, witb public holidays on top of that, but haven't been remotely lucky with days off in any of my previous jobs.

SteamOS has a desktop mode that works in a similar way to Windows, thus allowing you to run regular programs such as productivity apps and web browsers. Although SteamOS isn't really ready for desktop PCs, there's Bazzite that includes all you need to run a SteamOS like experience on a PC
