His last bronco bust will break us all but he is going down in style. Doctor Strangelove is a fucking treasure of a movie. In a shiny metallic hallway, a beachball that resembles a tomato covered in yellowy pustules sits. Its clawed feet tap impatiently on the floor as the human whose hand hold a treat waits for the extraterrestrial to come and get it. It does. Oh, it does. Dark Star is a John Carpenter classic that I cannot recommend highly enough.

On a grey table in an airport, a pint glass sits. There is a ring of foam bubbles dissipating around the top of the glass below the pint line. It holds a delicious lager. I know it was delicious because while waiting for my connecting flight, I was sipping on it with relief. The flight there had been hell. So when I landed there, I asked the airport employee where the nearest beer was. She sent me here. G-d bless her.

A sunny cobblestoned Saturday afternoon in Prague. On Jan Palach square downtown, a young person sits on the ground. Under the LA cap, the befreckled face smiles slightly. One hand gives the peace sign and the other holds a sign that says, in Czech, Prague stands behind Los Angles. Underneath which, in English, it says Hands Off Democracy and Human Rights! Behind the young person, there are a bunch of people, some holding signs. All of them protesting the actions of the United States government.

2015 at one of the technical museums in Germany near Speyer. I effing LOVE that place.
Exterior fall scene. Green grass and a tree here and there whose remaining leaves are barely hanging on. There is a large turbine dead center of which a middle-aged woman is standing - completely dwarfed. That was me in 2015 standing in the middle of a massive turbine that makes me look like a tiny doll.

Ladies, if you were a TV, what kind would you be?

I would be the once funky cool portable tv set that now makes loud clicking sounds as you try to force its knobs towards the station you prefer. There are only three stations available and its mostly noise.
