the end result of what should have been a chill half day at work yesterday. instead i spent hours & four hundy at the emergency vet after mister scout chewed himself raw. he had his first arthritis shot two weeks ago & is now much more flexible again clearly like
a maine coon mix, in his golden years, tolerating well his cone of shame after licking raw his leg & a trip to the emergency vet.

twas a beautiful weekend at the bay area bookfest here in berkeley. i am just so heartened by their centering of the voices of BIPOC & LGBTQIA folx, & such radical voices!
