Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought TOS were just a list of “if you do these things we will close your account” and not “If you use our product to break the law it’s on you and not on us.”

On the other hand this implies that slowly refining a prompt to get the output you envisioned would count as creativity, and I’m not sure I’d call even that creativity.

For the record: I think neither are okay, but if I had to choose one over the other, I’d make the one involving real people illegal first.

Authorities simultaneously decrying drawings of CSAM while turning a blind eye to literally generating rape fantasies of real people sure reveals that they choose what to care about strictly in terms of what it’ll earn them politically. I can’t help but wonder when it will all boil over...

And it’s going to affect way more cis women than trans women, simply because there’s more of the former.

This will, as usual, mostly affect cis women.
Why? Simple: There’s waaaay more cis women than trans women, and in both groups, the ratio of passing to non-passing (yes I am aware that non-passing for a cis woman is ridiculous, but it sadly does happen) is fairly close.

If you’re given a fair chance to present your voice, and choose not to, regardless of if you agree with the outcome, it is still a vote for the majority.
As for the actual situation presented, a supermajority of those that spoke made their decision. And those that abstained have to deal with it.

Almost 900 members were given the chance to vote. Those that didn't can be taken as "I agree with the majority." If that's not what they meant then maybe they should've voted.
Also, "over a quarter" can also be stated as "a small minority." Generally 2/3rds is seen as a supermajority.

Because to them, "The people have spoken and denied your claim." Is merely an invitation to try again but sneakier. They will never take no for an answer, so the matter must be forced.

This just shows that merely defeating these people in a vote isn't enough. That *always* needs to be followed up with outlawing the hateful organizations, and prosecuting individuals if need be.
