It is sad to see that CS conference paper reviews nowadays are more about likes/dislikes than scientific merit. It’s a random draw of three reviewers and how they feel on that day.
Maybe the shear volume of papers is doing the damage.

Finished my last lecture today at the University of Utah. Moving to Boston next week. Taught my first ever course here. Learned a lot in the process. Had an amazing 2.5 years at the U.
