OTD: 34 years ago Ukrainians voted in favour of declaring independence. I couldn't vote because I was just starting middle school, but I did wear a vyshyvanka and had a firm belief that all the Moscow-related nonsense would be consigned to the dustbin of history by the time I graduate.🙄

Damage done by Russian strikes on Kyiv since 2022 so far. I marked the U.S. embassy with a blue dot, since the recent tragic terrorist attack on a block of flats was in that area.
The most densely hit spot is a populated area near the Lukyanivska metro station.
