They are not. IETs are just the GWR units, Azumas are the LNER ones, Evero the Avanti ones, Paragon the Hull Trains ones and so on. AT300 is the family name.

Why would someone say 802 305 is an IET? Pretty sure there have never been Great Western units in the Midlands.
