I'm not afraid to say I just wanted Kong to win because I liked him better. I recognize the strength of Godzilla, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want mah monke boy to be on equal footing.

I also just don't think it makes sense in-universe either. Vulcan emotions are *incredibly* strong, so they embraced logic, ie. they *learned* it over years. Logic isn't baked into a Vulcan, it's trained, so them suddenly becoming logical and emotionless is stupid. They should've become Doom Slayer.

Addressing both this and the other thread, I both crave and spur backstory for things. I so badly want to know about this or that because it's so cool and mysterious. Then I find out, and while the reveal is usually 50/50, my mind can stop obssessing and let me try other stuff now, so...eh

I see Batman getting the ring as similar to that one Gandalf what-if. Batman dominates the Nazgul, kills Sauron, and sets Middle-Earth up as a surveillance state after killing everyone thay disagrees with him as a potential threat...or at least, that's what he *would* do if Sauron didn't clap him.
