Why “Pancreas Pete” for a handle? I’m a recovering drunk and addict. Entered sobriety June 30 1984. But had severely damaged my pancreas. Two Whipple surgeries but still have issues. Forever grateful to Bill W and Dr. Bob and my AA brothers and sisters.

Our time to act against the fascists is growing shorter and shorter. Dems are mostly worthless in this fight so they need to get out of the way. This will require millions of us, physically. Our revolt, our actions will remain bloodless - if the right allows it to be.

I’m all abt taking care of yourself in this stressful time, but I need a certain level of anger and resolve 24/7, refreshed daily, just so I don’t get anywhere close to being complacent with what’s happening to us. It motivates me.

On this Presidents Day, do yourself a favor and read some letters written by Washington and Lincoln. Easy to find them. Besides the content, they also use a style of prose that is wonderful to immerse yourself in, a forgotten eloquence.

Last one. Gus n Pip after first grooming at 6 months. They are Brittany Doodles. We bought Gus, then my oldest daughter said she wanted one, so we bought Pip. Daughter ended up not being able to take Pip.
