Since losing Sounds, have explored other radio just to have options without the micro fatigue of podcasts. R4 still reigns supreme but other interesting stations include CNA (Sg), RN (Aus), CBC (Canada), WNYC (US). Have also brushing up on French (France Inter) and German (WDR 5). I know. Overkill.

You cannot orchestrate George’s ‘reintegration’, Emma. That is something that can only happen over time, and organically, and spearheaded by George himself and his own acts of contrition and service. You aren’t doing him any favours by getting in the middle of that #TheArchers

Finally shifted to my new flat this arvo. After roughly 6 hours of tedious unpacking and storing, followed by a lukewarm but necessary shower, I realised I had no clean undies. Still too exhausted to sleep. So sat here in the dark, in my new living room, wearing half my swimming togs. Needs must.

This is a repost cos I accidentally left identifying details in the screenshots. Anyway, just wanted to say this is typical old school Singaporean landlord behaviour. Nothing ominous. But it still annoys me to no end. Also wild to me you can buy a million dollar property and not measure it up.
