A sentient, mercury-vapor street lamp with arms and a glowing white face sits in the middle of a very dark, utilitarian alleyway corner, with the green lamp being the only light source. There are various objects in the alleyway, such as an old pay phone, a radio, and a traffic cone. Mushrooms and other fungi are thriving in the dirt-exposed regions of the concrete flooring.
