I’m not ashamed to say I left before extra time today.
Two nil up and they thought the job was done.
We deserved what we got.
Congratulations to @carlisleunited.bsky.social, who actually turned up.

Thinking of our precious Mum today, on what would have been her 82nd birthday.
Miss you always, love you forever 💙

Things that are inevitable in life:

- Death.
- Taxes.
- Reading fans moaning about the current manager’s style of play/lack of wins/lack of tactics.
- Reading fans moaning about the new manager before they have even been announced, having demanded the head of the old manager.

Just me fangirling over Professor David Olusoga at The Town Hall in Reading… 😍
Fantastic and thought provoking evening. He was too scared of Claudia to give us and #CelebrityTraitors gossip though 🤭
Thanks Beverley for the best birthday present 🎁 xx

Thanks everyone for your kind birthday wishes, cards and presents 🎁
I have had the best day out with my sister being a tourist in and around Canary Wharf and Greenwich.
Being 57 has started off quite nicely 👍🏼

According to the Liverpool Echo Facebook site, it’s a day to celebrate the Helens in your life.
Don’t worry if you’ve not sent your card and present, you have another 364 days every year to enjoy me 🤭

Our lovely Daddy B would have been 81 today.
Would give anything for one more chance to celebrate this day with you.

Guess who almost peed herself with excitement in Sainsbury’s when she clapped eyes on these bad boys?

Thank you ReadingFC for giving us the chance to look inside Bearwood today. What an amazing place and massive shout out to all the staff, players, volunteers and Reading Buses for organising it all so beautifully.
I bloody love this club #readingfc

Had to laugh as we were coming out of the shops.
Car in the lane turning right beeps the van in front, as the lights were green & he hadn’t moved.
Van moved, but just enough to get through on a red light, leaving the beeper stuck.
That’s just the kind of pettiness I can get on board with 😂

Genius.
10/10, no notes 👌🏼
We now cross over to BBC Radio Derby.

Where to even start, what a day it’s been!

First the news all Reading Football Club fans had been waiting for, that the sale had been agreed after almost two years.

Going for the usual pre-match Costa and getting coffees bought for us by Andy Yiadom and Amadou Mbengue.

Congratulations to #bcfc.

It hurts to lose the record, but it was made to be broken, even if it’s taken nearly 20 years.

We now have to survive and, against all the odds, get into the playoffs.

And maybe that’s the real story of this season.
