Saw a TikTok from a teacher who was going to post something joyful every day. My joy for today is that I have space on my new desk for the cat bed I crocheted and for Ruby to keep me company while I work.

My mom has Alzheimer’s and I have been staying with her in Iowa where I grew up. It has been 4 years and about a year in I decided she needed a dog, well turns out I was the one that needed the dog. Happy 3rd birthday Ruthie can’t image taking of mom without you!!

Newest addition to the family, Ruby lives up to her namesake. She looks sweet here, but boy is she spicy!! 😂
