It seems to me it would be totally appropriate from the moment the inauguration starts till it ends, that I fly my American flag upside down. The international signal of distress. What say you?

I believe he should preemptively grant far reaching pardons to everyone Trump & co. has threatened to go after. That would make it impossible for him to achieve his revenge. Additionally the President should announce this as a major initiative to counter the threat of Trump’s revenge crusade.

As Earth rotates, different areas of the planet pass through these tidal bulges, causing the regular rise and fall of sea levels we associate with tides. Most coastal areas experience two high tides and two low tides approximately every 24 hours and 50 minutes.

As the Moon orbits Earth, its gravitational pull creates a "bulge" of water on the side of Earth facing the Moon,
resulting in a high tide. Meanwhile, on the opposite side of the Earth, another high tide occurs due to the centrifugal force caused by the Earth-Moon system's rotation.

Excuse my apparent lack of understanding,as I understand it tidal effects are actually the reverse of what is actually happening. The oceans remain in a constant state and the earth rotates through the oceans. What we see is actually earth effects and tides are an illusion based on what we observe.
