Allowing health insurance tax credits to lapse will be devastating for those who rely on them to afford critical healthcare, but it will also make care more expensive for all of us.

It was an honor to testify for the Assault Weapons Ban this week.
These weapons are too lethal and cause terror for our children and teachers.
It is common sense to respond to a public health emergency with measures to limit risk and loss of life.
The time is now.

It was great to be with neighbors and colleagues at the Barrington Library to discuss the importance of protecting our libraries and librarians, and most importantly everyone’s “Freedom to Read”.

I was honored to sponsor the bill in the RI Senate last year and so pleased to see it getting ready to award it’s first grants soon. We have a long way to go to bolster our primary care workforce, but this is a great start!
