Seems unlikely on the face of it as to spend those vouchers, you have to scan the clubcard associated with it. Cmon Fesshole - at least weed out the obvious lies.

Rory comes across (mostly) as a reasonable and decent guy - it's easy to forget he's a fucking Tory but he is, in fact, Tory to his very core.

It's not just Leicester! My grandparents house never had either a bathroom or an inside toilet. When they died in 1962 and left the house to my parents, they had a bathroom added to the back of the house before moving in. This was in Woodford in Greater London.

Oops - sorry, you are right. I misread it the second time! I blame my husband, he said it was progressive and I am so used to him being correct! I still don't care though and I still don't believe for a minute that a single parent on low income would use inheritance to buy a 2Mil house!

I just reread the summary of the "mansion tax". If the house is worth 2 million, she's fine. Tax is only on the value over 2 million so if the house is worth 2.1 million, you only pay the tax on the .1 million.

Erm, why can't they sell up and move? Plus I'm a teensy bit skeptical... We bought our first house in 1982 and I went online to look at current prices of all the houses we've owned and the most expensive was in Ealing - currently valued at just over a million quid.

I do wonder what age you think "older people" are. I'm 70 and have no problem with touch screens. My husband is 72 and has no problem with touch screens. My sister is 75 and has no problem with touch screens.
