His name was Gilbert. He was shot and gravely wounded. He had to be euthanized as his wounds were so bad he couldn't be saved.

I grew up in a Southern Baptist family. Church services 3 times per week and choir practice on Thursday. I was SICK of going to church. When I would push back against it, my father would point his finger in my face and angrily shout, "I OWN you!" That's the SBC in a nutshell.
